Built 2 Last was started in 2008 by Perry Schmitt.

Like the name says, everything we build is built to last as long as possible. We really go the extra mile to make sure that the projects we undertake are completed in the best possible manner, so that your project will last longer, protect your home better, and look great. Perry has been in the construction field for his whole life, starting as a teenager who would spend weekends and summer breaks roofing houses and doing other construction related jobs. After graduating from Central Bucks High School, he decided construction was his occupation of choice--he had always enjoyed working with his hands and the feeling of joy and satisfaction that comes with seeing a job well done.

Honing his skills over the next several years, he worked for other construction companies. When satisfied that he had learned his trade, he decided to begin his own company. Perry's goal for his new company was to experience the satisfaction of seeing a job well done and knowing it is done right, he didn't want to just be another typical contractor, he wanted to be something more. It was important to Perry that the name of his company touted his philosophy -- Built 2 Last. He wants his clients to know that his work will always emphasize quality and dedication.
